Striped Philosophy for Zebra

Recently launched consultancy Philosophy, formed by ex- Saatchi and Saatchi Design staff, has created the identity for Zebra, a sponsorship and marketing organisation.

The consultancy was briefed to provide a fresh look that would not alienate Zebra’s existing client base, which consists of large companies and big brands.

“We were anxious to avoid the classic zebra black and white stripes cliché,” says joint director Natasha Anslow. “We created an identity with contrasting shades of blue and green, using a mixture of thick and thin stripes to reflect the corporate name. This features on the back of all the stationery.”

Along with former Saatchi and Saatchi Design colleagues Frances Herrod and Sarah Woods, Anslow launched Philosophy, based in east London, earlier this year (DW 22 April).
