1 Bold, colourful and explosive, the work Joy from British design legend Peter Saville is part of a new exhibition at London’s Man&Eve gallery, curated by painter Clare Price. The exhibition Blitzkrieg Bop runs from 4 July to 2 August at Man&Eve, 131 Kennington Park Road, London SE11.

2 An exhibition of ballet pumps for shoe company Repetto to celebrate its 60th anniversary will run throughout the summer at London’s Dover Street Market, showcasing designs by famous names including Andrée Putman, Catherine Deneuve, Chloë Sevigny and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

3 Luxury knows no bounds to ‘billionaire brand’ Nespresso, which launches its limited edition Swarovski crystal Essenza coffee machine this week, available exclusively at Harrods’ Nespresso Boutique for £699.

4 Retail design consultancy The Market has created a concept store for Home Form Group to unite its three brands – Möben, Sharps and Dolphin. The store is at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.

5 A raft of designers, including Stefan Sagmeister, Alan Dye from NB Studio, Angus Hyland from Pentagram, and eBoy, have made creative contributions to an A6 book entitled Fifty Designers’ Current Favourite Typefaces. All proceeds are going to children’s charity the United Nations Children’s Fund.

6 Graphic novel Milk is designed by Stephen White under the pseudonym Stref. Its 72 pages consist of 13 short graphic stories in different styles. A Facebook profile previewing the work has also been set up.
