Chaloner back with Conran

Terance Conran’s design consultancy Conran & Partners has appointed David Chaloner as its interior and retail design director. Chaloner left Havas-owned Conran Design Group earlier this year (DW 26 February), and he will spearhead plans for the group to ‘grow in the retail design sector’, where it will be working on interiors ‘for a major US and a major UK retailer’, according to Conran & Partners director Paul Zara.

The move re-unites Chaloner with Conran, whom he worked with in the 1970s. Conran has had no ties with CDG since 1992.
