Cable & Wireless Guernsey has appointed Conran Design Group to help reposition the telecoms brand in the Guernsey market.

CDG was selected last month following a four-way competitive pitch. The consultancy has been tasked with developing a retail design programme as well as a brand communication strategy for the company. The aim is to boost the brand and retail experience throughout the region.

Mark Briers, mobile director at Cable & Wireless Guernsey, describes the work as ‘an exciting step for us’. ‘A strongly designed retail environment will play an important part in better communications with customers,’ he adds.

Jane Simmonds, executive director at CDG, says, ‘Cable & Wireless is integral to the Guernsey market. We will be working with them to express that more persuasively to consumers.’

The work kicks off immediately. Cable & Wireless Guernsey is one of the largest employers on the island.
