Tatham Pearce has appointed Dialog’s managing director Grahame Jones as its first marketing director.
Tatham Pearce managing director David Pearce says that following co-founder Amanda Tatham’s recent departure (DW 17 May), Jones’s appointment is a key step in Tatham Pearce’s development. “We have the opportunity to re-assess ourselves,” says Pearce.
Jones says he left Dialog, the former David Lock Design, after “five years with very limited resources and much hard work”. He claims to have left the company “in a much stronger financial and business position”.
Jones adds: “I felt the time was now right to move up a division and take on the challenges of working and developing a bigger consultancy.”
His departure follows that of Dialog’s creative director Peter Smith during the summer. Smith joined Luxon Carr as its deputy creative director.
Dialog founder David Lock says an art director has been hired, but declines to name the person or comment on the changes.
