Springetts milks the organic look

Design group Springetts has created a brand identity for an organic products sub-brand due to be launched this month by Dairy Crest.

Four products – cheese, butter, milk and cream – will bear the Organic Farm Produce marque. The range has been given a “cottage industry” image by packaging which appears hand-wrapped, and which refers to the farm where the products originated.

Springetts managing director Pete Green says, “A farm has to meet such rigorous criteria to gain the organic categorisation that it makes sense to emphasise the individual farm as a part of the identity.”
