Purves and Purves’ Canada Place outlet

Homewares retailer Purves & Purves was due to open a new store in Canada Place, in London’s Canary Wharf, as Design Week went to press. Interiors for the store have been created by in-house designer Naomi Jackson.

A special lighting feature, called the Curt (U) Unclassified, has been developed by Anthony Dickens Designs.

Covering 159m2, the store is to be joined by a further 26 retail units as the district makes a bid to develop a greater community feel. Branches of HMV, Accessorize and Boots are also set to open.

“It was the concept of a regeneration process that Purves & Purves wanted to be associated with,” says Purves & Purves director Andrew Purves.
