Jump to work on Rugby World Cup graphics

Jump Design

Jump Design and Direction has been appointed to design the titles, branding and programme graphics for ITVs Rugby World Cup 2011 coverage, Design Week understands.

It is believed that Jump Design and Direction is one of four consultancies shortlisted for the project alongside Red Bee Media, Artillery and one other.

Coverage of the Rugby World Cup 2011, which will be held in New Zealand, starts on ITV on 9 September when the new creative will be first screened.

It is thought that each of the groups involved pitched with a creative proposal and although the breakdown in the deliverables of Jump Design’s work are undisclosed, the project will involve all creative treatments for the programming.

ITV was unavailable for comment on the project at the time of going to press.
