A book featuring 30 bridges will be available from 1 April

A book featuring 30 bridges has been designed by Brighten the Corners. The book, by Matthew Wells, examines recent architectural and engineering trends in bridge construction and includes an introduction by architectural critic and Design Week columnist Hugh Pearman.

Many of the bridges featured were built over the past ten years and have been chosen because of the high degree of experimentation involved in their design. The 192-page book is designed in a landscape format with a landscape-oriented grid to reflect the nature of bridges and is available in bookshops from 1 April, priced £35.
