What are small groups supposed to do?
I was interested to read Andrew Mitchell’s letter in your 29 January issue, as I had come to consider the Chartered Society of Designers as irrelevant to my design consultancy.
Until I had an appointment with my local Business Links design adviser, who informed me that I had to rejoin the CSD to be included on the local roster.
Then, at a subsequent meeting, I was informed that as my group was a partnership comprising only two partners, it was too small to be included. As a number of our clients are blue chip, we feel that local firms would benefit greatly from our expertise. Where do we go from here?
