Generous George drives staff forward

Being American, George Martino, managing director of Wiltshire group Storm, motivates his troops in style. He has just given his two senior staff Alex Bane and Spencer Buck brand new Peugeot 306s and a share in the consultancy. ‘They’re both boy-racer types and I know they’ll be thrilled with them. They’d forget a pay rise fairly quickly, but they won’t forget these,’ says the shrewd-but-generous Martino.
