Boxer plans to open offices in North America

Birmingham-based design consultancy Boxer is to expand internationally, with plans for offices in Chicago and Toronto by March 2008.

At the same time, Paul Castledine, former group creative director, has been promoted to chairman and chief creative officer by the consultancy’s parent company The Marketing Store.

Following Boxer’s recent international account wins, which include Johnson & Johnson, Unilever and McDonald’s, the consultancy made the decision to establish client management and business development teams in the US. The consultancy’s creative centre will remain in Birmingham.

Castledine aims to develop Boxer as a creatively led, strategic design consultancy. ‘Boxer has developed a successful design consultancy brand alongside our parent company The Marketing Store. The worldwide network strengths of that company will help us build our own presence in international markets across the globe,’ he says.
