Designers tune in to DTV work

The digital terrestrial channels for which licence applications were submitted last week will throw up a host of on-screen identity jobs.

The two main players, British Digital Broadcasting and Digital Television Network, have both applied to operate three multiplex services, totalling 15 channels.

Working logos for BDB and DTN are by Merchant Corporate Design and Ammirati Puris Lintas respectively.

The new channels proposed to fill the multiplexes include film, sport and natural history. Most will need identity input.
