Get the work/life balance right for the child’s sake

Thank goodness for people like Sam Dumont and someone save us from the Mark Bonners of this world (News, DW 6 February).

Bonner, I’m deeply worried for you mate. Take some of Dumont’s advice or your two-year-old will remember you as the hunchbacked bronchitic with a penchant for floor cleaning products.

It is possible to work in design and bring up a kid. Your phrase ‘one of us had to go’ is straight from the planet misogyny’s book of how to jeopardise a relationship.
