The Team has fetched up a brand identity for The Barking Baker, as the nascent mail-order company launches a range of all-natural, luxury dog treats.
The work involved creating a logo for use across stationery, mailers, product tags and a website, www.barkingbaker.com, also designed by the group.
The company briefed The Team to come up with a ‘clean, natural look’ that reflects the ‘wholesomeness’ of the company’s products and ‘appeals to dog lovers’, says The Barking Baker managing director Clivette Taylor.
The group went for a ‘fun, friendly, sophisticated’ logo, that is ‘more Harvey Nichols than Tesco’, adds The Team designer David Richards.
The Barking Baker plans to introduce its dog treats and giftboxes to London retailers by next spring.
The Team was appointed without a pitch in July.
