Life celebration was the very essence of World Aids Day last week, and Lola Flash’s photos don’t hold back in the give-it-all-you’ve-got stakes. They were auctioned at Soho bar The Edge with comedians Lenny Henry and Jo Brand in attendance. Flash uses a cross-colour process, which reverses colours, challenging the viewer to question what the mind has been trained to accept – hence the black Ku Klux Klan masks. Proceeds went to the Terrence Higgins Trust.
