Seventy-five artists and designers make the most of a single oak to produce furniture, sculpture, jewellery and wood-fired ceramics at Onetree, tracing the lifecycle of the tree from acorn to manufactured goods. An accompanying book with photographs by Robert Walker records the project. Details available at www.onetree.org.uk.

Italian plastics company Magis has briefed five designers to reinvent traditional games for the video game era, the results of which can be seen at Post-Computer Games from 13 August-27 October. Icelandic baseball by Michael Young and Lawn Bowls by Ross Lovegrove (pictured) are among the ideas on show.
