Lighting designer Sophie Chandler’s sculpture stands in the reception area of the British Gas headquarters in Staines. The piece, which is called Future, is constructed from gas pipes, cables and light bulbs and was commissioned to celebrate the company’s entry into the electricity market last month. Chandler, who founded Alternative Light studio in south London, works in recycled materials.
The collaborative concept album was creatively directed by Pentagram’s Abbott Miller, with illustrations from Ori Toor and animations by 1983 studio.
