Creatives not so honoured in list

It was a poor showing for the design community in the New Year Honours List, but a clutch of creatives were recognised.

Jewellery designer Wendy Ramshaw was appointed CBE, as was Professor Anthony Jones, formerly Royal College of Art rector before Professor Sir Christopher Frayling. Architect Rab Bennetts was awarded an OBE for services to architecture.
