Carlton stars Lambie-Nairn

Lambie-Nairn has refreshed its identity for the Carlton Media Group which it created in 1993.

The new look adds a five-pointed star within a star to the existing marque. It will be rolled out across the group’s corporate literature and marketing materials in the coming weeks.

It launches this week through an on-screen sequence which overlays the new Carlton star on to the heart of the ITV logo.

“The idea was to reconcile the two icons – the star of Carlton and the heart of ITV – and to fit them together,” says Brian Eley, creative director at Lambie-Nairn.

Carlton has also created new graphics and title sequences for its London Today and London Tonight programmes, designed by Cheshire media and design consultancy The Edgeworks.
