Paul Wearing was commissioned by Tom Stone at John Brown Publishing for Ikea’s mid-September issue of Room Magazine. The images accompany a feature on the quality of life in various cities around the world. The Sydney and New York images are used as a centrespread. ‘The series contains characters and landmarks that reflect the cities of New York, Sydney, Cairo, Tokyo and Vancouver,’ says Paul Wearing.
