Competition aims to give politics ‘both barrels’

A campaign for political reform is calling for film and images as part of a competition to ‘give the old politics both barrels’.

The Vote for a Change campaign is calling for the Government to announce a referendum on electoral reform before the next general election.

As part of this campaign it has launched a competition seeking film and images to support its aim. Willie Sullivan, head of the Vote for a Change campaign, says, ‘We want to get as much attention as possible, and we’re seeking images that send up politics in an amusing manner.’

The films and images, based around the buzzword ‘change’, will be used on the campaign’s website and Facebook page. In addition, winning images will be used on postcards that will be sent out to voters in crucial seats across the country.

The winner in the image competition will receive a 13-inch Mac Book Pro, which runners up will receive £25 Amazon vouchers.

To enter the film competition visit http://voteforachange.co.uk/page/s/filmcompetition, and to enter the images competition visit http://voteforachange.co.uk/page/s/b3ta. The deadline for both is 10 September.
