Mike Exon leaves Digit

Digit editorial director Mike Exon is leaving the consultancy to pursue other career plans after a mutual decision to part with the digital group.

Daljit Singh, Digit director, says, ‘We decided to separate. There is no redundancy. We both agreed it. He hasn’t gone yet, we’ve just decided to work in a more flexible way.’

Exon, a former deputy editor of Design Week, will continue to work on some projects for the consultancy in a freelance capacity. He is leaving to focus on journalism, writing for the creative industries and carrying out strategic work for design groups.

Digit was founded in 1995 and bought by WPP in 2004.
