Interiors firm Artillery opens Abu Dhabi office

Artillery Architecture and Interior Design has opened an office in Abu Dhabi in an interior design-focused, client-led move to develop new and strategic alliances.

Liz Walsh, marketing manager at Artillery, says the consultancy will work with financial and legal clients. She adds, ‘We’ll also look to work with London companies setting up there.’

Potential briefs have been identified in existing office space which UK companies might occupy, according to Walsh, who says, ‘There’ll be a lot of design and refurbishment projects.’

The office, which opened its doors this week, will be headed by architect Steven Charlton, who previously worked for three years in the United Arab Emirates interiors sector for Hamilton International.

Artillery, which opened a Melbourne office in 2006, will now look to recruit staff based in Abu Dhabi for the new office.

Initially focusing on the corporate sector, the group will offer services including workspace analysis and sustainable design.
