Royal Academy reveals Premium Interim Projects
The Royal Academy is to open its doors to the public for a peek at the students’ work
Efforts by second year postgraduate Royal Academy Schools students will be on display spanning painting, performance, photography, sculpture, site specific installation and video.
Eileen Cooper, keeper of the Royal Academy Schools says, ‘Premiums 2012 promises to be an exceptional showcase for the work of a new generation of artists studying at The Royal Academy Schools.’
This year students include Adham Faramawy and Marie von Heyl. Alumni include Anthony Caro, Paul Huxley, William Blake and John Constable. Make of this what you will.
Many of the exhibition works are for sale, and any sold directly support ‘the development of the students and the production of new work,’ according to the Royal Academy.
Premiums Interim Projects runs from 2-15 March at the Royal Academy of Arts, 6 Burlington Gardens, London W1S 3ES
