Specialist fresh food eatery Chop’d has appointed Cada Design Group to undertake a strategic review of its brand and develop new store designs for an expansion of the business.

Chop’d currently runs two London stores – in Leadenhall Market and Canary Wharf – but managing director Jasper Wight is looking to open new outlets. It offers fresh warm and cold salads, soups and breakfasts, as well as other hot food.

Cada has been tasked with analysing how the products are merchandised and how the stores might be developed into different trade formats. The consultancy will develop a strategy to enable Chop’d to enter new markets more effectively.

‘Part of our brief is to act as a growth engine, applying big brand techniques to a growing brand to ensure that the Chop’d business develops in line with the board’s expectations,’ says Cada co-founder David Anderson.
