Taylor takes over at LBi

Digital media group LBi has promoted its UK chief executive and former Oyster Partners founder Luke Taylor to the position of chief executive of LBi International.

The 39-year-old Taylor is credited as being instrumental in the merger of the digital media giants LB Icon and Framfab.

Taylor replaces Robert Pickering, who has been at the helm for six years. Pickering is to remain a board member and will act as a consultant to the management team, according to a statement from the group this morning.

He will ‘assist management and the board with mergers and acquisitions and other strategic financial opportunities’, the group states.
