FutureBrand’s Dumeu steps down

Jean-Louis Dumeu has stood down as president and chief executive of FutureBrand Worldwide and Patrick Smith has been instated in his place.

A spokesman for FutureBrand confirms that Smith took up the new role on 1 January.

Dumeu, the former European Landor Associates chairman, was appointed to the post, based in New York, in 2004.

Smith, the one time European chief executive at Brand Union, has been promoted from his former role of chief executive of FutureBrand Europe, where he was working to expand growth in Russia and Germany.
