Get trained in cultural leadership

The Cultural Leadership Programme and Ashridge Business School are offering chief executives of creative businesses and design executives places on a free leadership course in March.

The Advanced Leadership in the Creative Industries programme is aiming to help design executives cope in an uncertain economic climate.

Chair of the Cultural Leadership Programme David Kershaw says the programme will give senior executives in advertising, music and design ‘access to the same quality of support as their counterparts in other areas of business in a way which draws out their creativity’.

The series of lectures and seminars will be held over four months at the Ashridge Business School, Hertfordshire, and is being supported by the Design Council. There are 18 places available to senior executives who have been working in commercial music, design or advertising for five years or more.

The programme has been developed by Ashridge in partnership with the Cultural Leadership Programme, the UK Design Skills Allliance and the Institute for Practitioners in Advertising.

The deadline for applicants is 15 January. For more information about the course and to apply visit www.culturalleadership.org.uk.
