The Ministry of Truth is designing the branding and packaging for organic cosmetics supplier Essentially Natural.
The Ministry of Truth won the contract through its recently acquired credentials as an ethical design and communications consultancy. It is also designing the brochure and mailers for Blooming Futures, which converts diesel vehicles to run on rapeseed oil.
Launched two weeks ago by former Scholz & Friends London creative director Steve Spence, Ministry of Truth ‘aims to provide high quality design and advertising for companies big or small that produce or provide ethical products or services,’ says Spence.
He adds, ‘There are not many places for ethical companies to procure services that come up to their own standards, so this is a relatively unploughed field. By using a regular design consultancy, they might find that they are on the books along with companies they do not approve of.
Spence is looking to recruit designers. ‘I am on a big new business drive at the moment, and am looking for designers and account handlers to take on future projects,’ he says.
