Harrods launches Swarovski-studded chocolates

Never ones to scrimp on luxury, Harrods is set to launch a range of £5000 Swarovski-studded chocolates, with exclusively designed packaging by Lebanese chocolatier, Patchi.

The super-premium packaging, in which the chocolates are hand-wrapped in Indian silk and presented on suede leather with gold and platinum partitions, was created by Patchi’s in-house design team.

A Harrods spokesman says, ‘A number of our customers have actually asked for a product such as this which has the “wow” factor.’

The chocolates are part of Harrods’ exclusive new range of ‘High Life’ products, which will launch next month.

Hope whomever buys them chokes on them – what a disgusting waste of money. Buy some bloody Thortons and give the remaining £4950 to a charity dealing with starving people.
    Christ.

This has to go to show how the rich are just so lacking in taste and scruples!

$10000 for gilded chocolates, pretty obscene, but given the gluttony in that postal of London, I guess it should be no surprise.

I’d better spend £100000 on Swarovski Chocolates with designed packaging by the genius Patchi; than on any health damaging “aliment”. What is better than Luxury, Art and fine Gastronomy! Brovo for Patchi’s great design! I love Chocolate and I adore the Lebanese Luxurious style.
