The cosmetics company approached Bob last November to design the Life NK range, briefing the group to create a unisex line to reflect Space NK owner Nicky Kinnaird’s lifestyle.
‘We decided to use a lucky bear token, which Nicky keeps in her handbag when she travels, as the inspiration for the design,’ says Bob director Murielle Burdhart.
The group worked with illustrator Mio Matsumoto to create a bear image, which is used on the product packaging along with a circle motif. Bob has also used different colour packaging to differentiate fragrances.
The range will be cheaper than other Space NK beauty products, which the brand hopes will attract younger consumers. It will be sold in Space NK stores in the UK and the US.
Bob is also working with Space NK to design a canvas shopping bag and Christmas candles.
