Cogapp to redesign Children’s Society website

Cogapp is redesigning the main public-facing website for charity the Children’s Society.

The Brighton-based digital consultancy says the redesign will create ‘a more friendly and engaging website for the charity’ and use a range of social media tools, including blogs, forums and social networking feeds.

Cogapp says the new website will focus on attracting new users and encouraging repeat visits. Work is currently under way on the redesign, with a launch planned for autumn 2010.

Alex Morrison, managing director of Cogapp, says, ‘We will initially deliver an extensive user-testing and research phase as part of the redesign. This will make sure that what we deliver is as usable and useful as possible. Usability of the new site will be key to generating the best results for the Children’s Society.’

Emma Callagher, digital marketing director at the Children’s Society, says, ‘Our public-facing website is a key tool in communicating with all of our audiences and is an essential part of the fundraising process and the support services delivered by the Children’s Society.’
