Branding webchat

The Guardian is set to host a Breaking into Brand Design webchat as part of a series looking at how to get into the design industry.

Having already held sessions looking at graphics and packaging, the Guardian is now turning its webchat sights on the branding and marketing sector, with experts including Lambie-Nairn managing director Lisa Hill and The Brand Union managing director Toby Southgate on hand to answer questions.

Joining them on the panel will be Jo Boyd, managing director at Anthem, Paul Franklin, creative director at Heavenly, Joe Hedges, creative director at Garden and Rareform Branding, Ridhi Sain, a senior designer at Coley Porter Bell; freelance brand and web designer Matthew Harpin; and Lisa McWilliam, head of account management at Brandhouse.

The live chat will take place from 1pm-4pm on Wendesday 20 July on the Guardian’s website and promises to be an interesting one – the first question is ‘Is the branding of the 2012 Olympics a retail success?’.
