M&C Saatchi TfL campaign shows London’s unexpected destinations

M&C Saatchi has created a series of posters for Transport for London, looking to encourage Londoners to explore new areas and experiences in the capital.

The agency brought in illustrators Jack Hughes, Jack Hudson, Rob Bailey, Daniel Frost, Miguel Montaner, Stanley Chow to design a number of posters celebrating some of London’s more unusual or unexpected destinations, including Newham City Farm, which boasts alpacas; the Emirates Air Line cable car, which travels over the Thames between Greenwih Peninsula and Royal Docks and North London’s Kenwood house.

Each of the six illustrators created an image for one destination.

Grant Parker, head of art and creative director at M&C Saatchi, says, ‘The brief for this campaign was to show people the breadth of inspiring things they can see in London, to get them out of their routines, and tell them how to get there with Transport for London.

‘And we wanted to create something that reflects this brand¹s impressive design heritage.’

The campaign is used across outdoor posters and digital displays, press ads, radio and a collaboration with Time Out magazine, which will use a co-branded landing page.
