With a few avid chocoholics on the Design Week team, (ahem – my reason for living) it is no surprise that we can hardly contain our excitement and salivating thoughts after hearing about The Chocolate Library- a home for chocolate with something to say.

Founded in 2007 by design and publishing expert Sandra Colamartino, the company creates design-led chocolate bars for large organisations as well as private clients. The Message bars have a flexible design allowing the central band on the box to be personalised, while still looking like part of a collection.

This concept has been carried through to a new range called Bar of the Day – which offers a typography-inspired bar a day. ‘The plan has always been to build up a library of bars so we aim to create 100 bars in 100 days,’ says Colamartino.
