Nicolas Mamier joins Appetite as MD

Appetite has appointed former Elmwood managing director Europe and Middle East Nicolas Mamier as its new managing director.

Mamier replaces former managing director Sheila Tully, who is now director of strategy at Appetite. The managing director post was empty for a year prior to Mamier’s appointment, according to Appetite creative director Jason Butler.

‘Tully wanted to get back to focusing on strategy, and it took us a long time to find the right person to replace her, as it is such an important role,’ says Butler.

Mamier left Elmwood in November following a management restructure that resulted in a number of redundancies. He spent some time as an independent consultant before landing the Appetite role, which he takes up this month.

‘I was always interested in joining a company that wants to grow, as that suits my skills, but what also convinced me is that Appetite is punching well above its weight strategically,’ says Mamier.

Mamier and Appetite chairman Laura Haynes will together spearhead the group’s low-carbon communications programme Zero, which aims to help businesses operate more sustainably.
