Lippincott Mercer has added to its management team in London again with the appointment of Tom Farrand, former director and global head of innovation at Added Value, to the position of partner in the strategy practice.

Additionally, the consultancy has appointed Ashish Banerjee, former senior vice-president for Europe, Asia and the Middle East at advertising agency McCann Erickson, as senior partner in Lippincott Mercer’s Dubai office. Vincenzo Perri, former assistant professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, joins its Hong Kong office as a design partner and creative director for Asia.

The appointments follow a management shake-up which saw the appointment of David Hensley, former managing partner at Vivaldi Partners, joining as a senior partner at the London office in January. New York-based Su Matthews and London-based Simon Stacey were also promoted to senior partners in April. Additionally, last July, Lippincott Mercer’s then senior partner Rune Gustafson quit the consultancy, and was snapped up by Interbrand as UK chief executive. One month earlier, in June 2006, fellow senior partner Simon Glynn was appointed to the new position of head of the London office.
