John Lewis is currently in the process of phasing out its incumbent Greenbee services with John Lewis branded products.
The consultancy was approached by John Lewis to communicate the service ‘with a look and feel that is in keeping with the John Lewis master brand’ but that also ‘appeals to the hesitant or dissatisfied consumer’ of other company’s products, according to NB Studio account director Anoushka Rodda.
The design, which will be applied to in-store graphics, marketing materials and the John Lewis website, features a complimentary palette of blues, reds and yellows to the John Lewis green.
‘We’ve expressed the broadband as fast-moving but conveyed something calm, serene and trustworthy,’ adds Rodda.
The typography has been set in a bespoke version of John Lewis’ Gill Sans font ‘which has been specially cut to show connecting lines,’ says Rodda.
