European Hotel Design Awards winners announced

David Collins Studio picked up the award in the Lobby & Public Areas category for its work on the Lime Wood Hotel in Hampshire.

MKV Design was recognised in the Suite category for its work on The Romanos in Casta Navarino, Greece, and Fox Linton Associates won in the Spa, Health and Leisure Facilities category for its project at the Dorchester Spa Hotel in London.

Other winners included architect The Manser Practice, which picked up the prize in the New-build category for its work on the Park Inn Hotel in Manchester and Michelberger Hotel/Studio Aisslinger, which won in the Café, Bar, Nightclub and Lounge category for its work on the Michelberger Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

The judging panel for the award, which recognise designs in recently completed hotel projects from around Europe, included Simon Ford of InterContinental Hotels Group, Khirstie Myles of Marriott International and Eugene Staal of Rezidor Hotel Group.
