The Skull Appreciation Society

The Skull Appreciation Society was set up by art and illustration duo Mr Four Fingers in a bid to document “the very best skulls from all corners of the globe”.

The duo says: “We will not stop searching until we have all the skulls in the world, in one place, for your reference and enjoyment.”

Now the Skull Appreciation Society is branching out from its online home to hold the Celebrabis Vitae (celebrate life)  exhibition in east London, kicking off on 31 October (Mexican day of the dead).

The exhibition will see a host of international creatives including Mr Gresty, Emily Evans and Ben Allen showcase their own interpretations of skulls.

The launch night will also feature a day of the dead-inspired shrine, face-painting, a tarot card reader and competitions.

Celebrabis Vitae is at Box Studios, 1-3 French Place, London E1, from 31 October-6 November.
