The audiovisual design consultancy has sampled and remixed recent Uefa competition matches to create beats and tunes from football kicks, crowd cheers and referees’ whistles.
Five approached Addictive TV directly, according to the group. ‘The channel has been getting slightly more adventurous with its promos over the past year, and said it wanted something that would be difficult for others to copy or replicate for this project,’ says Addictive TV producer Nick Clarke.
‘The stings involve both audio and visual design, with all the graphics work being done in-house by us, too,’ adds Clarke. The idents will incorporate the newly launched Europa League logo by FutureBrand.
A 50-second version of the ident launches today, with a shorter version debuting on Thursday. This 17-second ident will also be used online.
