Maurizio Mussati replaces Alasdhair Willis at Established & Sons

Maurizio Mussati has been promoted from chief operating officer to chief executive of furniture design company Established & Sons, replacing Alasdhair Willis, who announced his resignation last week.

Willis, who co-founded Established & Sons, says he has left to focus on developing his creative consultancy Announcement.

Mussati joined Established & Sons in September 2008. Prior to that he had been managing director of lighting at Moooi and director of international operations and corporate development at Flos.

Established & Sons says Sebastian Wrong will continue as design director at the company, with Angad Paul staying on as chairman.

Paul says, ‘We have greatly valued Alasdhair’s significant contribution to the success of the company. It is an exciting moment for Established & Sons; we will continue to build on the company’s international presence and brand recognition. With Maurizio and Sebastian at the helm and with a conscientious and dedicated team, we look forward to continued growth and success.’
