What do Yuri Geller, Anthony Worrell-Thompson and restaurateur Aldo Zilli have in common?

Nothing, you might hope, except they are all designing ceramics for Poole Pottery’s new collection, Poole Lifestyle, available in John Lewis.

Paranormal TV spoon-bender Geller is eschewing cutlery design in favour of a range of Picasso-inspired plates and vases and is working on a range incorporating rock crystals. Next up is the launch of celebrity chef Worrell-Thompson’s dishes of the non-food type.

Poole Pottery managing director Peter Mills says: ‘There is even talk of creating a range of cutlery, which would be great fun to market with [Geller’s] spoon-bending abilities.’
