CSD gets London region office

The Chartered Society of Designers has established a regional branch for its London members, following long demand for such an organisation.

CSD president Adrianne LeMan says the formation of the London Region is a result of the CSD’s strategic review. “We are getting on and doing things,” she says.

Patrick Goff of Putney interior design consultancy Goff Associates has been appointed chairman of the London region and Brent Richards, who had previously represented the CSD in the capital, is vice-chairman.

The first meeting of the region is scheduled for 6pm on 11 September, at Morley College near Waterloo Station (DW 29 August).

A number of initiatives are already underway, and Goff hopes to introduce a social element to the London CSD. “It’s all about democracy,” he says.
