Let’s not forget those who served in the Infantry ranks

I couldn’t resist the irony in the title ‘Say it straight’ after reading Anna Richardson’s feature (DW 23 July).

It certainly illustrates the power of economic copywriting, as describing it as ‘one of [Harry] Pearce’s most lauded posters, Infantry’ seems to have forgotten the budding Lippa Pearce designer that conceived the idea, sourced the image and designed the poster all those years ago.
