‘Exciting proposition’ wins back Logica contract for SAS

IT and software giant Logica has returned its annual report design to Stocks Austin Sice after giving the job to Addison last year.

SAS, which had designed the previous five reports, refused to enter a credentials pitch for the job this year on the grounds that Logica would know what the consultancy could offer, says SAS partner Jeremy Sice.

Addison and two other unnamed groups, went through a credentials and unpaid creative pitch, with SAS presenting proposals, says SAS partner Nick Austin.

“SAS came up with the most exciting proposition,” says a Logica spokesman. The report will be out in October.

SAS has built up a third design team, headed by Penny Baxter. The six-strong team includes designers Alan Delgado and Mike Hall, who have joined from Coley Porter Bell and The Partners respectively.
