It’s amazing how short our memories have become in these busy times. But few can claim the brief attention span of Sean Blair, out-going Design Council design and communications director.

His descriptor on the website of his new venture Limited Nowhere makes much of his first-class degree in Design for Industry, the fact he founded product design group Octo and his teaching commitments.

For the past four years we find Blair has ‘focused on helping break through self-imposed boundaries and explore new possibilities in competitiveness, positioning and policy’. But there is no mention of the Design Council, his employer for that seminal four-year period. Whoops!
