Coates sells his own style in London store

Designer and architect Nigel Coates is opening a shop beneath his offices on Honduras Street in London’s Clerkenwell.

Named simply Nigel Coates, the store will sell ranges of furniture, jewellery, homeware and clothing, all selected or designed by Coates. Included will be ranges based on Coates’ designs for the Body zone in the Millennium Dome at Greenwich.

The store interiors, again designed by Coates, are to allow an understated, elegant space. The store will feature simple lighting schemes, and house a changing series of exhibitions.
