Three weddings and an anniversary party

The joining of Davies Baron and Diefenbach Elkins last week was something of a family affair. Not only did Messrs Diefenbach and Elkins come over to London to sign the deal, but John Elkins’ parents also made the trip.

They were here to attend a more regal event, however – the Queen’s tea party celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary. The Elkins senior were married in the same year as Mr and Mrs Windsor and hence qualified, along with thousands of other couples, to partake in the anniversary celebrations.

Half a century is a long time to be hitched to someone. Let’s see if the happy union of newly weds Davies Baron and Diefenbach Elkins lasts as long.
